Emergency: Flooding, COVID Variant, and Sharp Increase in Asylum Seekers Create Crisis

FESAC's partner NGO, San Juan Bosco Shelter in Nogales, is currently overwhelmed by numbers of migrants seeking shelter. In the last two days unprecedented flash flooding and a spreading deadly Covid variant are providing an immediate threat to the growing number of families finding care and compassion at the shelter.

To enable director Gilda and her staff to meet the needs of over 300 asylum seekers, one third of whom are children, your help is urgently needed – now!

Contributions should be made to the Border Community Alliance. Be sure to designate your contribution to the "San Juan Bosco Shelter", an option under "Mexican Pass Thru" drop-down. FESAC is a Nogales based Mexican foundation working in partnership for over 5 years with the Border Community Alliance.

You support is gratefully appreciated by the families in this critical time.
